Kawasaki NINJA ZX-10R Description
Up for sale is my ZX10r Special Edition. This has been my baby, and I’m sorry to see it go, but it’s time to make space in the garage. I took this bike up PCH through Big Sur a couple times a year, and basically changed the oil every trip.
16,400 miles. One owner, adult owned and maintained. Two keys, clean title, registered in california through July 2022.
Stuff wrong (full disclosure): 2 things, cosmetic only: It has a few very small chips on top of the tank, from following my friends too close through the canyons, but it’s hardly noticeable. Sand and rocks bounce off your chest and hit the tank. I think you can see in the photos. Second thing is some paint on the shift lever and peg is scratched off. This happened when my son was moving it out of the garage, and lost his balance and the bike fell over. Middle fairing was replaced and clutch lever. Other than that static drop, the bike has never been down.
IT’S BEEN WORKED ON, here is a list:
– Full Ohlins suspension installed by Yoshimura race team mechanics- Power commander- Dyno tuned and mapped 168 RWHP (190ish at the crank, it’s crazy fast)- Pirelli Diablo tires – FMF carbon slip on – Shorai lipo battery (awesome!)- Puig windshield- K&N air filter- Fender eliminator kit w/ integrated turn sig- new drop tooth front sprocket- recent light weight rear sprocket- recent DID EVRs 520 chain- steel braided front brake lines- Cox radiator screen- valves done 15081- revalved Kyle racing steering damper- includes 3 gallons of motorex oil and one filter- original pipe and turn signals incl. The oil that is included was obtained from the yoshimura racing team. It’s amazing stuff not available to the public. Currently the bike has Motul 300v in the gear box, and it was just changed before placing the ad.
That’s pretty much it. Runs excellent, rides excellent, turn key and meticulously maintained. Hoping to find a new good home for her. This bike has some providence; Nicky Haden’s mechanic worked on the suspension. I will fill you in on that info if you come to look at the bike. The engine has never been messed with, aside from valve adjustment and routine maintenance. It runs better than it ever has, and someone is going to get a sweet ride
