CYCLE MODEL COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Cycle Model strives to create a lighthearted community for all motorcycle enthusiasts. This is a place where anyone passionate about riding or bikes can feel welcome. Just as riders have respect for each other on the open road, we ask that all CycleModel.com users have the same level of respect online.

Rules of the Road: Much like any motorcycle club, CycleModel.com has a few rules and expectations for its community members. Although bikers may be viewed as rebellious, CycleModel.com embraces a vast and wide-ranging community and we’d like you to follow these basic guidelines and treat everyone with respect. Here are a few topics to avoid that will help you steer clear of trouble:

SEX AND NUDITY

Nudity is not allowed, particularly if it is in a sexual context. Generally, if a video is intended to be sexually provocative, it is not acceptable on CycleModel.com.

HATE SPEECH

Hate speech refers to content that promotes hatred against a group or person for any reason or on any basis, including (among other things) race, ethnicity, religion, sexual identity, gender identity, disability or nationality. Hate speech has no place in our cycling community and will not be tolerated on CycleModel.com.

SHOCKING AND DISGUSTING

Motorcycle riding can be dangerous, and sometimes people do get hurt. However, it’s not appropriate to post violent or gory content on CycleModel.com. Nothing on our site needs to be shocking, sensational or disrespectful.

DANGEROUS OR ILLEGAL ACTS

CycleModel.com does not allow any content that is intended to incite violence or encourage dangerous and/or illegal activities. This type of content includes, but is not limited to, instructional bomb making, ninja assassin training, sniper attacks, videos that train terrorists or tips on illegal street racing.

CHILDREN

Videos involving children (anyone under the age of 18) are particularly sensitive. Please be cautious when posting something involving a child. Videos containing children should never be sexually suggestive or violent or otherwise inappropriate for minors. Be advised that we work closely with law enforcement and will report child exploitation of any type or nature.

COPYRIGHT

As a creative community, it is essential that everyone on CycleModel.com respects the copyrights and other ownership rights of others. If you are not sure if something will violate someone’s copyright, the safest thing to do is to create something completely original. If it’s entirely your creation, you never have to worry about copyright infringement or other legal issues because you own the subject matter. If you’ve recorded something from your TV screen, or downloaded a video or music track online, don’t post it unless you have permission.

Cycle Model Enforces these Guidelines: CycleModel.com staff review flagged videos 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to determine whether they violate our Community Guidelines. When they do, we remove them. If you see content that violates our Terms of Use, then click the “Flag” button under the video to submit it for review by the CycleModel.com staff.

Accounts are penalized for violating our Community Guidelines and serious or repeated violations can lead to account termination. If your account is terminated, you will not be allowed to create any new accounts. For more information about how the Community Guidelines are enforced and the consequences of violating them, please visit the Help Center.

Welcome to the Community: We’d like to officially welcome you to Cycle Model’s online community. Just remember to be considerate of our differences, whether you’re a first-time rider or longtime road warrior. We know that you are passionate about your favorite OEM, maintenance techniques, riding styles or other issues within the motorcycle community. We don’t mind a little back and forth on certain topics, as long as we remain respectful of one another. Threats, name calling and trolling will not be tolerated on CycleModel.com. This is a place to buy and sell bikes, swap stories, ask for or give advice and chat with other cool motorcycle lovers. Thank you.
