Used 1979 Triumph BONNEVILLE T140 Classic / Vintage Motorcycle

Reduced price. This is a 1979 Triumph Bonneville Special in outstanding original unrestored condition. I knew the original owner of this motorcycle. It has very low original mileage with only 12156 miles. It has been kept in a climate controlled garage. In 1979 Triumph offered this motorcycle as a special edition Bonneville with some unique features. It is one of the few motorcycles Triumph offered from the factory with a 2 into 1 exhaust system. It was also equipped with Lester wheels which were expensive state of the art at the time allowing tubeless tires. It was also equipped with a special high western handlebar. The black paint scheme with gold striping and red Triumph badge was unique to this motorcycle. You will notice in the photos that I have installed a muffler from a BSA Gold Star. Also, I installed the British version handlebar which to my eye gives the bike a more traditional look. I have the original muffler and handlebar. This motorcycle runs well and would make a good daily rider or an addition to a vintage collection. If you are interested or want more information email me or call my answer machine.
