BMW R 65 Description
Original motor and frame R65, cleaned, upgraded and mildly restored, this R65 had all bodywork professionally repainted in BMW Silberbeige (Silver Beige) with new badges and stickers. Seat is original. Front fender is from an LS. Fresh oil and filter change, new spark plugs, rebuilt carburetors with a new air cleaner. I upgraded to Progressive Suspension rear shocks and springs and progressive fork springs. New Continental tires, new fork seals and fork oil. All lights work and mechanically, its in great shape. To finish it off I took it to BMW Motorcycles of Detroit for valve adjustment and carburetor sync. Starts on the button. Exhaust pipes are in excellent shape and chrome polished up nicely. Has factory tool kit and manual as well as a Clymer shop manual. Really a great project and rides great, very smooth. Too many bikes need to move on. Clear Michigan title, recent receipts. No lowballs.
