Used 1974 Honda CT 90 TRAIL Classic / Vintage Motorcycle

This is a great little reliable 47 year old trail bike for around town, on the trails or the back of your motorhome.

I have serviced hundreds of these since I started Sams Cycle Service full time way back in 1982.

I actually did the work on this one myself. I revived it from years of storage which included:

Check the engine compression and it was great at 160 psi., rebuilt the carburetor and petcock, replaced the fuel hoses, inspected the inside of both fuel tanks and they both look good.

Replaced the battery and air filter. Changed the oil. Adjusted the valves, cam chain, ignition points

and spark timing. I adjusted the clutch, brakes and cables. Got the turn signals and all the lights

working again.

The tires are holding air but they are quite dated so you might want to replace them.

It is ready to ride as is and does not need anything.

There is no kill button so you would turn it on and off with the key only. The worst is the broken plastic frame cover and the top of the headlight shell as pictured.

The best is the lack of rust and solid first kick to start engine. I dont usually see these this age with no rust anywhere.

The fenders are also in amazing nice original condition with no dents, no rust and even the paint on the fenders looks perfect. This bike is all original and has never been repainted. Cosmetically It is not from perfect but I call it “very nice” for its age. Take a close look at the pictures.

The plastic parts are available new on e-bay as are other replacement parts that you might eveer need.

This bike will continue to go up in value even if you put a bunch of miles on it. They are very easy to sell too.

I have the clear title, shown in the last picture. It is a Utah title. I also have a bill of sale from the last owner. If you are in California and intend to register and title it in California and you want me to do this for you then I will also collect the tax of about 7.75% depending on your city tax rate plus a documentation processing charge of $85.00. Plus the registration, transfer and title fee of $175.00. Plus $100.00 for me to get the CHP verification appointment and trip the the CHP office.
These appointments can take up to 6 months to get.
