BARN FIND…. this is a VERY rare scooter.i have been collecting bikes for over 40 years and this is only the 2nd one i have ever run onto. i bought it to restore but at age 70, i am downsizing and selling off the majority of my collection. these were made by NSU which was an upscale german manufacturer ( which is now audi) they built them under license from lambretta in italy. the germans increased the quality considerably and added things like electric starters,etc to their models. the original lambrettas in restored condition sell for apprx $8,000 the NSU being more rare will be more in the $10,000 range when restored, so it would be a good investment while enjoying it. these are arguably the best looking scooter ever made with its curvaceous art deco lines and trim,and very dependable.there is nt a title for it but titles are fairly easy to get because states realize over half the states in the 50’s never issued titles back then,not to mention them being in modern computer systems now days. feel free to call me  on any questions 352-598-7431 terry
