Yamaha FJR 1300 A Description
CA local commuter bike because I used to hate getting stuck in 100 miles of freeway traffic driving solo. With the FJR (which if you read about them is the same family genetics as the actual racing FJRs), you basically are driving the equivalent of a land-based F-117A fighter jet with adjustable windscreen and a ridiculous amount of power on tap. It’s also much more comfortable than the power-equivalent sportsbikes, and carries much, much more, including passengers.
Incl matching Yamaha OEM side bags and top trunk with matching locks and soft bags. Power Commander 3. HID lighting with LED signals. Lithium battery. Only minor cosmetic scratches with matching touch-ups. About 5K on the current tires (Michelin Pilot 3). Engine short block replaced at 24K with new block, heads and cylinders due to warrantied mfgr over-heating issue. Gen3 electrics (w/o heated handgrips, nor cruise controls.) Runs clean and smooth. No shifting issues. About 42 mpg under 80. Original owner. With center stand. Fully maintained, ready to ride. Current CA tags. Buyer would assume any transportation costs, if shipping is needed.
