The hand-made Akrapovic silencer made of titanium produces a powerful sound as well as offering clear benefits in terms of weight. Its sporty light alloy forged wheels make the K 1300 S Motorsport even more agile.

And the engineers have made advances in the areas of comfort and safety, too: more efficient power transmission with Automatic Stability Control (ASC) provides increased riding safety. What is more, the electronic suspension with Dynamic ESA provides a uniquely secure ride feel: contact between road and tyres is tangibly improved by means of spring travel sensors.

If you’re out and about on the “Motorsport” special model there’s no longer any need to check tyre pressure manually: this is taken care of entirely by the automatic tyre pressure control system RDC. And it’s no longer necessary to use the clutch and release the accelerator when shifting up a gear quickly – thanks to the HP shift assistant.

A high level of ride comfort is also provided by the heated grips – when temperatures drop, at higher speeds or on lengthier trips.
